JOB DESCRIPTION: The new Dean will lead Colorado Law and is responsible for advancing the school's vision to be "a supportive and diverse community of scholars and students in a place that inspires vigorous pursuit of ideas, critical analysis, and civic engagement in order to advance the rule of law in an open, sustainable society." Successful applicants will have outstanding academic credentials, a vision to advance the public service commitment of the Colorado Law, a deep appreciation for the legal profession and for legal scholarship, excellent fundraising skills, the capacity for administrative and intellectual leadership, a track record of consensus building, and demonstrated excellent communication skills. The successful candidate must hold a juris doctor and must have academic and professional experience commensurate with appointment at the rank of tenured full professor.
