Open Rank Founding Faculty Position

The School of Public Policy (SPP) at Central European University in Budapest was launched in 2011 and will welcome its first class of graduate students this fall. In our second major wave of hiring, we seek to fill open rank Founding Faculty position in the following area: International Law (2013/024). The position is full-time, permanent appointment/fixed term appointment with possibility to convert into permanent appointment. Application deadline: August 11, 2013

JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS: The newly appointed faculty members will help shape SPP's research agenda, teaching programs and engagement with practice. We seek academic entrepreneurs ready to contribute to a vibrant intellectual community and committed to improving public policy worldwide through innovative teaching, excellent research and extensive engagement with policy practice, including by cooperating with CEU's sister organization, the Open Society Foundations and its many civil society partners.
