Full-time Positions in on Scientific Research
The University of Ghent (Belgium) invites applications for 2 Full-time positions in the Faculty of Law as Professor in the rank of lecturer (tenure track), senior lecturer or (senior) full professor with a focus on scientific research funded by the Special Research Fund (BOF).
JOB DESCRIPTION: The two positions will be granted in the following categories of fields of study:
- Methodology of Law;
- Market Law, International Economic Law or Intellectual Property Law;
- Public International Law;
- EU Substantive Law and Legal Protection;
- Private International Law or International and European Procedural Law.
There is maximum one vacancy per category of fields of study. The two positions offer the opportunity to focus primarily on research, with only a limited teaching responsibility of 60 hours per semester.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Non-native speakers of Dutch can also apply. Candidates are expected to meet the requirements with regard to the language knowledge as they are determined by the Decree of 4 April 2003 concerning the restructuring of higher education in Flanders. The official language at Ghent University is Dutch.
