University Lecturership in Property Law

in association with a Tutorial Fellowship at Trinity College, Oxford

Combined College and University salary of British Pound 42,883 - 57,581 per annum plus additional benefits including a housing allowance of British Pound 8,825 per annum.

The Faculty of Law of the University of Oxford and Trinity College, Oxford invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for a permanent University Lecturership in Property Law, to commence not later than 1 October 2013.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have an undergraduate degree of first class grade, or equivalent standard; a higher degree in law; and a record of high quality research and publication commensurate with their career experience. They should also demonstrate the ability to lecture, supervise, examine and give tutorials within the field of appointment; and should possess administrative and pastoral skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful appointee will be required to pursue research and to undertake teaching within the field of Property Law - primarily, Land Law and the Law of Trusts, but also, if he or she wishes, other areas of Property Law too. The teaching will include: tutorials, classes, supervision and lectures at both undergraduate and graduate level. He or she will be expected to contribute to administration and pastoral duties in the college and in the Law Faculty. The postholder will be provided with an office and other facilities at Trinity College.
