Applications are sought for several Full-Time Tenure and/or Tenure-Track and Limited Term Positions commencing July 1, 2013.
ABOUT THE FACULTY OF LAW: In 2011, the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University became Canada's first new Faculty of Law in 33 years. 2013-14 will be its third year of operation. Along with current faculty members, you will contribute to developing an innovative approach to legal education blending academic, professional, and ethical aspects of a modern law curriculum.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants with backgrounds in all areas of law are welcome; however, special consideration will be given to applicants with a demonstrated interest and experience in Property Law, Trusts, Family Law, Labour and Employment Law, Environmental Law and International Law.
Candidates should hold a graduate degree, or the equivalent in legal studies, law or a related discipline and demonstrate a capacity for exceptional scholarship and teaching. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Demonstrated excellence in research and teaching is required.
