The newly created Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia invites applications from outstanding scholars with a special interest in Property Law for one position at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - Full-Time Tenure and/or Tenure-Track Position Commencing Immediately.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University is the first in Canada in over 33 years. Along with our inaugural faculty members, you will contribute to developing an innovative approach to legal education blending academic, professional, and ethical aspects of a modern law curriculum.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should hold a graduate degree, or the equivalent in legal studies, law or a related discipline and demonstrate a capacity for theoretically-informed, interdisciplinary scholarship and teaching. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Demonstrated excellence in research and teaching is required. Applicants with backgrounds and focus in all areas of law are welcome; however, immediate priority may be given to those with a demonstrated interest or experience in property law.
