Grade 7: British Pound 29,249 - 35,938 with a discretionary range to British Pound 39,257 p.a.
The Faculty of Law is looking to appoint a suitably qualified person to the Erich Brost Career Development Fellow in German and European Union Law. This post is designed for an individual with outstanding potential at an early stage of their academic career, wishing to specialise in the field of German or European Union Law. The post is available for a fixed-term period of three years from 1 October 2012 and will be associated with St Hilda's College.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Fellow will be expected to carry out a programme of work which will promote the study and research of German and European Union Law at Oxford. The Fellow will be expected to teach for the Faculty and for St Hilda's College up to 144 units per year, equivalent to a teaching load of six hours per week during term time. The Fellow will be allocated a mentor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will be someone with a doctorate in law, or who possesses an equivalent research record and an appropriate research output.
