Faculty Positions
The NUS Business School at the National University of
Singapore seeks an outstanding legal scholar for full-time
appointment. The School offers business law and related
law modules in the BBA, MBA and Executive MBA programs.
Currently, the School has an opening for a full-time
position in business law and we invite applications for
appointments, tenure-track and limited term, to commence on
July 1, 2010.
Appointment may be made at the levels of Assistant,
Associate or full Professor, as qualifications and
experience warrant. Positions are subject to budget
approval.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have fluent written and oral communication
skills in English and a superior academic record. An LL.B.,
J.D. or equivalent law degree plus relevant advanced
graduate level education will be required. Candidates must
demonstrate a record of, or a strong potential for,
excellence in scholarly research and teaching. They should
in addition have the ability and willingness to contribute
to the intellectual and scholarly life of the School
community and to the University more generally.
The School is interested in candidates whose work focuses
on business law, especially corporate, finance or
commercial law. In particular, we welcome candidates who
can bring indigenous perspectives to their scholarly
research and who would be interested to collaborate with
business professors.
