     Suffolk University, a comprehensive private university
     located on Boston's historic Beacon Hill, offers a wide

     three schools: Suffolk University Law School, the College
     of Arts and Sciences, and the Sawyer Business School.



     ABOUT THE LAW SCHOOL:


     The Law School, founded in 1906, serves over 1600 students
     and has a resident faculty of more than 80. The School
     prepares students to become highly competent, ethical, and
     dedicated legal professionals. The School has a network of
     22,000 alumni, spanning every state and 33 countries. It
     ranks as one of the most technologically advanced law
     schools in the country and is housed in Sargent Hall, a
     state of the art 300,000 square foot building.



     JOB DESCRIPTION:


     The Dean provides leadership in all aspects of the
     operation and evolution of the Law School. This includes
     academic affairs, administration and planning, fundraising
     and institutional advancement, student recruitment,
     enrollment management and financial aid and financial
     management. The Dean is charged with improving the standing
     of the school and continuing to grow its current areas of
     strength, including its nationally ranked programs. The
     Rappaport Center for Law and Public Service is one of the
     school's most recent endeavors. The School is increasingly
     focusing on ways to further integrate its programs with
     those of the other two schools at the university.
