              University Lecturership in Criminology
         in association with a Non-Tutorial Fellowship at

         Salary: British Pound 42,351 to 56,917 per annum
              Start-up grant of British Pound 4,000



     Applications are invited for a University Lecturership in
     Criminology. The post is associated with a Non-Tutorial
     Fellowship at St Hilda's College and is tenable from 1st
     September 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter. The
     salary is on a scale from British Pound 42,351 to 56,917
     per annum plus College allowances and a start-up grant from
     the Law Faculty of British Pound 4,000. The post will be
     based at the Centre for Criminology within the Faculty of
     Law.



     JOB DESCRIPTION:


     This is an exciting opportunity to join the Centre for
     Criminology and to contribute to the delivery and
     development of its research and teaching programmes. The
     person appointed will be expected play a full and active
     part in developing and extending the Centre's research
     agenda and profile by conducting a programme of research
     and publication. They will also be required to undertake
     teaching within the field of Criminology and to supervise
     graduate students. Applicants should hold a doctorate or
     its equivalent in a relevant social science subject, have a
     record of high quality research and publication
     commensurate with their career stage and possess relevant
     teaching experience.
