     applications for up to four full-time tenure-track and
     tenured teaching positions, to begin July 1, 2010. The
     first new public law school in California in more than 40
     years, UCI School of Law opened its doors to its first
     incoming class of 63 students in August, 2009. UCI Law
     School's innovative curriculum emphasizes hands-on
     learning, interdisciplinary teaching and research, and

     - Scholars from all areas of interest are encouraged to

     - In making appointments, the School of Law seeks to
       further its commitment to an innovative curriculum that
       combines experiential learning with interdisciplinary and
       theoretical teaching and scholarship.


     - Applicants must hold a J.D. degree or equivalent from an
       accredited institution and have demonstrated potential
       for outstanding teaching and scholarly achievements. An
       outstanding academic background and relevant experience
       in practice are also expected.
