THOMPSON RIVERS UNIVERSITY
Kamloops, BC, Canada
Faculty of Law
Founding Dean
For the first time in 35 years, a new law school will be
opening its doors in Canada. Thompson Rivers University, in
partnership with the University of Calgary, will begin
offering a three-year LL.B/J.D. program in September 2011.
This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished scholar and

ground up. TRU will provide students with a program that
focuses on practical legal skills combined with a strong
background and understanding of the social, cultural and
economic realities of smaller urban centres in Canada.
