     The University of Luxembourg has an opening in its has
     Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance for Assistant (PhD
     student) in Law (M/F) with a specialization in European
     Law, Ref: F2-070010 (to be mentioned in all correspondence)
     2-year fixed-term contract, 40h/week, renewable once.



     JOB DESCRIPTION:


     The assistant will be working within the research unit of
     Law (Centre de droit europEen). The assistant is expected
     to contribute to research projects in the area of European
     Law.


     Tasks:
     - The assistant's main task will consist in contributing to
       the research within the Centre de droit europEen and
       preparing a doctoral thesis in the field of European Law.
       The thesis has to be done at the University of Luxembourg
       but can be part of a joint supervision with another
       university.
     - Contribute to the teaching at the rate of one or three
       hours per week of small group teaching and tutorials.



     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


     - Master's degree in Law (European, International,
       comparative).
     - Language skills sufficient to work in a multilingual
       environment, i.e. fluency in at least two of the three
       working languages (French, German and English) is a
       prerequisite; understanding of the third will be
       considered an advantage. Given that most courses are
       taught in French the applicant must be able to teach in
       this language.



     OFFER:


     - Personal work space at the University (full-time contract
       requires the assistant to work on the University
       premises).
     - Attractive remuneration.
