                Professorship of Intellectual Property
                    and Information Technology Law


      Applications are invited for the above post, tenable from 1
      October 2008 (or as soon as possible thereafter). The
      Professorship will be held in the Faculty of Law, and is
      attached to a non-stipendiary Professorial Fellowship at St
      Peter's College.


      JOB DESCRIPTION:

      The Professor will be expected to provide leadership and to
      teach and research in the field of intellectual property
      law at the highest level. He or she will have an
      outstanding record of research and publication and
      extensive experience of teaching at graduate level and of
      supervising higher level research. The University welcomes
      applications from candidates who specialise in particular
      areas of intellectual property law such as Copyright,
      Patents or Trademarks. Comparative interests and expertise
      in Commonwealth, American, European or other systems of
      intellectual property law will be an advantage.
