Call for Researchers
Waseda University is working to establish a research
framework that enables young researchers to demonstrate
their capabilities to the full. The Waseda Institute for
Advanced Study is currently recruiting researchers as
detailed below.
APPOINTMENT STATUS:
Visiting Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Visiting
Research Associate
PERIOD OF APPOINTMENT:
Three years from date of recruitment.
In principle, from October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2011.
WORK LOCATION:
Tokyo
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have doctoral degree (including PhD) in
hand, or have expectation of degree by October 1, 2008.
RESEARCH TOPICS:
Comparative Systems Analysis; Analysis of Political
Economics and Behavior Using Mathematical, Quantitative,
and Experimental Methods; Positive Analysis Based on
Corporate Data; Internationalization Strategies for Service
Businesses; Corporate Governance and Corporate Law;
Financial and Capital Market Law; Intellectual Property
Rights; Japan-US Relations and Japan-US Comparison (Mainly
Political and Economic Comparison). Other themes and
disciplines are also possible.
