Outstanding Legal Scholars
Up to 14 positions full or part time
The Faculty of Law is one of Australia's finest, providing
extensive undergraduate and postgraduate programs. As the
Faculty moves into its new world class building in late
2008 it is seeking to expand its academic staff with up to
14 new full and part-time positions at Associate Professor,
Senior Lecturer and Lecturer levels. Scholars will have an
opportunity to build upon the Faculty's international and
comparative law focus and to develop their specialist areas
of research.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Applications in all fields of law are welcome. Preference
may be given to applicants in:
- Corporate/Commercial Law
- Contract Law
- Torts
- Equity
- Property Law
- Asian Law
- International Trade Law and WTO
- Environmental Law
- Jurisprudence
What skills are we looking for?
- Capacity for original legal research and publication of
that research in refereed journals, books and reports.
- Talent for effective teaching within the core curricula
and postgraduate programs.
- Leadership in developing research teams in specialists
areas.
- Creativity and initiative in building a global law
school.
