Silicon Flatirons Fellow
Research Associate Specializing in Transactional Law
Colorado Law's Silicon Flatirons Center ("Silicon
Flatirons") is seeking an individual to work as a Research
Associate (the "Silicon Flatirons' Fellow") for a one-year
term. The job could start during the Spring 2008 semester
(viz., as early as mid-January 2008), however, the start
date is flexible and could start as late as August 2008.

JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:
This Silicon Flatirons' Research Fellow position will
specialize in transactional law, with emphases in
entrepreneurship and community development. An ideal
candidate will have a Juris Doctorate degree and at least
two years of experience in transactional legal work.
Experience assisting start-up businesses and/or assisting
community development work is a bonus. Candidates should be
interested in helping support classes via research
(including Colorado Law's Entrepreneurial Law Clinic and a
course in Venture Capital), help lead entrepreneurship
outreach efforts across the university community, and
conduct original research in the area of transactional law.
This position is best suited to an individual who desires the
opportunity to research in the area(s) of entrepreneurial law,
perhaps with a view to enter academia, become involved in
innovation policy, study deals concerning investments into
emerging companies, conduct work in community development,
and/or network in the Boulder/Denver entrepreneurial community.
