The DIREITO GV Law School Legal Studies Research Paper Series, published by Sao Paulo Law School of Fundacao Getulio Vargas - DIREITO GV, aims to increase the quality of Brazilian academic research on Law and Legal Studies.
These Working Papers are published here in order to foster a deep public discussion on ongoing research. DIREITO GV believes that only through open debate on theoretical models, methods, sources, data or interpretative conclusions it will be possible to better academic knowledge on Law and Legal Studies.
The idea is to develop an effective and dynamic forum which brings together our Professors, Researchers, Students and alumni and national and international scholars. We invite all those who might be interested in the topics presented here to offer their critique of these texts and to send comments to their authors.
Since they are working papers, it is not allowed to quote them, except under express authorization from their authors.
