The T.M.C. Asser Institute for International and European Law conducts academic research on various fields of international and European law. It is also directly involved in knowledge dissemination with the organization of research conferences, policy workshops and summer programmes. The Research Paper Series features accepted academic articles authored by scholars of the T.M.C. Asser Institute and covering the different fields of research at the Institute. The Policy Brief Series features short and timely policy-oriented papers written by scholars of the T.M.C. Asser Institute.
