The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Legal Studies Research Paper Series features published papers (including cross-disciplinary and collaborative papers), works in progress, and abstracts written by the faculty of the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. Celebrating its centennial this year, the College of Law has five centers, collaborative projects, and wide-ranging scholarship that confronts the defining issues of our time: climate change, the new economy, biomedical sciences and law, criminal justice, global justice, the family, and innovation in legal education. The College of Law brings programmatic innovations into the classroom, combining hands-on skills instruction, immersive simulations, advanced technology, and real-world clinical and pro bono service to enhance learning objectives. The College of Law was recently included in The National Jurist's rankings for both the top 20 Best Value Law Schools and the 20 Most Innovative Law Schools.
