     THE DELAWARE GENERAL CORPORATION LAW FOR THE 21ST CENTURY

     The Institute of Delaware Corporate and Business Law of 
     Widener University School of Law, with sponsorship by The 
     Corporation Service Company, invites applications to 
     participate in a symposium on "The Delaware General 
     Corporation Law for the 21st Century," to be held on May 5, 
     2008 at the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, 
     Delaware.
     
     Participants will submit papers of 20-30 pages in length, 
     to be published in a symposium issue of the Delaware 
     Journal of Corporate Law, addressing possible modifications 
     or improvements to the Delaware General Corporation Law 
     that might make it a more efficient vehicle for business, 
     both in the United States and globally. Professors whose 
     proposals are accepted will be offered reimbursement of up 
     to $750 for travel and other expenses associated with 
     participation in the symposium.  
     
     
     PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
     
     To apply to participate in the symposium, send a 2-3 page 
     summary of the proposed paper to:

     reviewed, and participants invited, by no later than 
     January 25, 2008, and papers are to be submitted by April
