PhD: 2-3 year duration; open to students with undergraduate or master's research experience and strong academic records.

PhD BY PUBLICATION: this attenuated program of approximately 1 year allows for formal recognition of established researchers who do not already hold a doctoral level qualification, and who have substantial international standing in their fields based on their record of academic publication.

KEARNEY TEACHING AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATESHIPS: Griffith University's prestigious flagship funding program for doctoral legal researchers, geared to developing the academic careers of promising scholars. Benefits include: funding between $20,000 to $32,800 (AUD) annually for three years; teaching or research work guarantees; and academic colleagueship within the Law School community.
