finance, real estate law, secured transactions, securities
regulation, and other business law subjects. The journal
will publish twice a year and will be edited by law
students. Publication of the first issue of the journal is
anticipated to be in the spring of 2006 with the second
issue in the fall of 2006.
II. CALL FOR ARTICLES
The Virginia Law & Business Review is currently seeking
original articles, essays, and book reviews from
professors, practitioners, judges, and law clerks for its
first two issues, as well as subsequent issues. All
manuscripts will be reviewed by the journal's Articles
Review Board. Publication decisions will be made on a
rolling basis, starting November 1, 2005.
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
Manuscripts may be submitted either electronically or in
hard-copy form. All submissions should include: (1) a

a separate page, and (3) a cover letter. The manuscript
should be formatted in Times New Roman twelve-point font;
should be double-line spaced; should have one-inch or
larger margins; should be printed on one side of the page
only; should utilize footnotes instead of endnotes; and

e-mail and should include: (1) the author's name, e-mail
address, and daytime telephone number; (2) the date by
which an answer is required; and (3) the name of the
journal that has offered publication. The journal will
make every effort to reply in a timely fashion, but may not
always be able to reply if the deadline is extremely short.

No responsibility is assumed for the return of manuscripts.
