Sexuality & the Law

Sexuality and the Law is an interdisciplinary forum for posting completed works and works in progress that concern legal and social regulation of sexuality and expressions of sexual or gender identity, including not only minority forms but also critical assessments of the institutions and practices which construct dominant sexual identities as well. We invite law-related work from scholars in a variety of disciplines in addition to those teaching in law schools: political science, economics, history, sociology, psychology, and the humanities. We include theoretical, doctrinal and empirical work, and welcome submissions from scholars outside the U.S.
