Full Professor of Information Systems

The University of St. Gallen, Switzerland - a leading University in Management, Economics, Law, Social Sciences and International Affairs - seeks to appoint a Full Professor of Information Systems by August 1, 2014 or by mutual agreement. The successful candidate will make a significant contribution to research and to teaching within existing degree programmes across the University and develop further networks with companies and partner universities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have an international reputation for design-oriented research within the field of Information Systems, substantiated by publications in leading journals, proven teaching ability at the undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and ideally also at the executive levels; and a track record of research funding. They will have demonstrated their capacity and interest in working with companies in the field of information management. As established scholars in their field, they should have actively participated in the international scientific community.

JOB DESCRIPTION: We offer a position in one of the leading European Business Schools. The Candidate will be part of the School of Management and will serve as a Director of the Institute of Information Management, one of the leading research centres in information systems in Europe. Being closely connected to many large European companies, this position offers manifold opportunities for research that has not only scientific, but also practical impact.
