                           PhD Scholarships


      The University of Auckland Business School is New Zealand's
      leading business school. It is home to the highest number
      of A rated, internationally ranked researchers of any
      business school in New Zealand. Also, the University of
      Auckland is the only New Zealand university to be ranked
      among the world's top 50, and in the latest Mercer Human
      Resource Consulting quality of living survey, the city of
      Auckland was ranked 5th in the world.


      PHD SCHOLARSHIPS:

      The University of Auckland Business School has a number of
      PhD Scholarships available for students who will commence
      their studies in 2009. Each scholarship is for three years.
      Each year the recipient will receive NZ$25,000 plus tuition
      fees. Additionally, part-time teaching appointments are
      available for scholarship holders.


      QUALIFICATIONS:

      The scholarships will be awarded based on the applicant's
      potential to conduct PhD research at a world class level.
      Applications from any business discipline or economics are
      invited. The application deadlines are 30 November 2008 for
      those intending to begin in semester 1 of 2009 and 31 March
      2009 for those intending to begin in Semester 2 of 2009.
