Announcing ICES-GMU Workshop on Internationalization & Competitiveness on SSRN
In cooperation with the Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science at George Mason University, the Innovation Research & Policy Network (IRPN) is pleased to announce the ICES-GMU Workshop on Internationalization & Competitiveness Online Proceedings. These proceedings are available to all users at no charge and contain abstracts of the conference papers with links to the full text in the SSRN eLibrary.
Policy and measurement in internationalization and competitiveness is discussed, framed by an institutional analysis aiming at identifying basic and researchable problems in this cross-section that has caught the attention of many nations', businesses' and universities' policy makers today. The purpose is to develop interdisciplinary research projects, during and after the workshop that could be funded by NSF and others, engaging two or more disciplines in international collaboration which can better inform policy, building on the identified basic issues.
The workshop is open for anyone with an interest in the theme - policy makers, academia, business or students. Simply let us know by email that you are coming so we can plan for a suitable room. All information on the workshop, including videos from speeches, can be found on the SSRN site.
