                    Faculty Positions in Finance


     The School of Finance at Shanghai University of Finance and
     Economics is one of the leading finance schools in China,
     with a highly dynamic and influential alumni network in
     China's financial industry. The School offers
     undergraduate, masters and Ph.D. programs. It is currently
     undergoing a series of reforms and it aims to build a
     first-class school with international reputation. The
     School plans to hire five faculty members in the coming
     year, at all levels (Assistant, Associate, and Full
     Professor).


     JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:

     Appointees - who must have a Ph.D. at the time of
     appointment - are expected to engage in active research and
     teaching. Compensation is between RMB 300,000-500,000/year,
     depending on qualifications and experience. Research funds
     will be offered, and housing and standard fringe benefits
     will be provided.
