     Ziff Brothers Investments is a multi-billion dollar
     investment management company with headquarters in New York
     City and offices in Palo Alto, London and Brisbane,
     Australia. The firm is the primary investment vehicle of
     the Ziff family.


     JOB DESCRIPTION:

     Ziff Brothers Investments is seeking two Economists who
     will work for the Chief Economist analyzing the
     international macroeconomic landscape on a fundamental
     basis. This analysis will support the firm's five-year-old
     macro investment efforts which have made important
     contributions to the firm's profitability. The job
     candidate will interact with leading macroeconomic thinkers
     in the private and public sector. The role will involve
     significant, but not constant travel. One of the jobs may
     be based in Asia.


     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

     - Ph.D. in Economics
     - Strong quantitative skills
     - Well-developed communication skills (both verbal and
       written), especially the ability to synthesize the key
       messages from extensive data analyses
     - Several years of experience analyzing international
       macroeconomic trends is a plus
