Faculty Positions in Finance
Rouen School of Management (RSM) invites applications for
two tenure-track positions in Finance. These positions, to
be filled at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor
level, will begin by the end of August 2008. They are open
to applicants with any area of specialization in Finance,
although preference will be given to Corporate Finance and
Financial Economics. Additional positions will be opened
next year. Applicants expecting to complete their Ph.D.
before September 2009 are encouraged to contact us.
Applicants interested in visiting positions are also
encouraged to apply.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
For all positions, candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in
Finance, Economics, or a related field.
For tenure-track positions, applicants should be able to
demonstrate excellence in teaching as well as in research.
Applicants will be asked to teach courses in various
programs (such as undergraduate, graduate, MBA/EMBA) and to
participate actively in research activity. Preference will
be given to applicants being able to teach in English,
enjoying team-work and looking forward to living in Rouen.
The salary is competitive at the European standard with
additional research performance-based bonus. Moving and
house assistance is also provided by the RSM.
For visiting positions with a six-month or one-year
duration, applicants should have strong research records.
In additional of a few teaching hours, applicants will be
asked to cooperate with their RSM colleagues in order to
build up a long-term research partnership between the RSM
and their institutions.
