                    Assistant Professor of Finance


     The Department of Finance at DePaul University is seeking
     applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor of
     Finance positions. The positions are scheduled to begin
     Fall 2008.


     JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:

     Applicants will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in
     finance and conduct research in their area of interest.

     Applicants must have a PhD in finance or a related
     discipline and evidence of potential excellence in teaching
     and research.


     ABOUT DEPAUL UNIVERSITY:

     DePaul University is the nation's largest Catholic
     university with an enrollment of more than 23,000 students.
     It has over 200 undergraduate and graduate programs.


     ABOUT THE COLLEGE OF COMMERCE:

     The college is located at DePaul's loop campus only a few
     blocks from Chicago's financial district and exchanges. It
     is one of the 10 oldest business programs in the United
     States. The part-time MBA program has consistently been
     ranked as one of the nation's top 10 programs by US News
     and World Report. Currently there are over 2,000 students
     in graduate programs in the Kellstadt Graduate School of
     Business and over 5,000 undergraduate students.


     ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AT DEPAUL UNIVERSITY:

     The department currently consists of a faculty of 28,
     including five clinical professors. It is the home of the
     Driehaus Canter for Behavioral Finance, the Real Estate
     Center, the Arditti Center for Risk Management and the
     Center for Financial Services. The department jointly
     sponsors an ongoing research seminar with the Federal
     Reserve Bank of Chicago.

     We offer M.B.A. concentrations in Finance, Real Estate
     Finance and Investment, and Financial Analysis.
     Additionally, we offer a Master of Science in Computational
     Finance, and Master of Science in Finance. The
     undergraduate program has its own Honors track as well.

     The department provides Compustat, CRSP and other data sets
     as well as research assistance, including access to WRDS
     database.
