Faculty Positions in Economics/Finance
The Department of Economics and Business invites
applications for three positions in Economics and/or
Finance at the level of Full or Associate professor.
JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have a well-established record of
publication and research. Applications are invited in all
fields of economics and finance. Being able to teach in
French is not strictly required but will be greatly
appreciated (some courses are taught in English).
The successful candidate is expected to teach at the
graduate and undergraduate levels, to supervise doctoral
students, to be committed to a state-of-the-art research
program, and to provide senior leadership in the
department. The position is expected to start on September
1, 2008 (or at a mutually agreed date). The annual salary
will be 40000 euros - 60000 euros, depending on experience
and qualification.

The Department of Economics and Business of the University
of Cergy-Pontoise is among the best ranked French
departments in economics (5th in France, 44th in Europe,
123rd worldwide, see Kalaitzidakis et alii, 2003, Journal
of the European Economic Association).
The University of Cergy-Pontoise is located in the Paris
area (30 kms from central Paris).
