Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

The School of Banking and Finance is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (equivalent to tenure track Assistant Professor) in Finance within the Australian School of Business.

Banking and Finance is a school within the Australian School of Business. The School offers Honours, Masters, and PhD programs in finance, has Australia's highest ranking MBA program, is highly ranked in both research and teaching and attracts some of the best students in Australia and abroad.

The University of New South Wales is located close to both Sydney's Central Business District and some of the world's most striking beaches, attractions, weather, and views.

The successful applicant is expected to teach both undergraduate and/or graduate courses in corporate finance and/or asset pricing. Other areas of finance will also be considered.

We seek applicants with PhD degrees or who are expected to complete their degree requirements in the next academic year and who are expected or have demonstrated excellence in publishing in top finance journals.

The Senior Lecturer positions are full-time, and are available on convertible tenure track employment contracts, which will include an initial fixed-term of three (3) years or five (5) years.

SALARY: Salary Level B-C: $108,371K-$128,100K* (plus 17% employer superannuation and leave loading).

An attractive salary package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
