The Active Emerging Markets Investment Team is a group of 20 investment professionals located in Boston, Paris and Hong Kong with the mandate to deliver active performance for its clients. The group manages a range of strategies spanning global, regional and small cap mandates for a variety of institutional and retail investors. Systematic quantitatively driven research is an integral part of the investment process.

We currently have an opening for a research analyst at the senior level. Project areas include security selection, country and currency allocation, portfolio construction and risk management all using a variety of advanced quantitative techniques.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working as a research analyst or portfolio manager in quantitative equity investment strategies
- Good knowledge of asset pricing and stock selection literature
- Genuine depth in statistics and econometrics
- Strong computer skills and good programming experience
- Knowledge and practical experience with statistical packages (e.g. Matlab, SAS, R)
- Ability to work well in a collaborative group environment
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both oral and written
- An advanced degree (preferably a PhD) with a strong numerical, statistical or financial engineering component
