Junior (Assistant) Professorship (W1) in Marketing

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the Goethe-University Frankfurt, Department of Marketing invites applications for a Junior (Assistant) Professorship (W1) in Marketing starting at the earliest possible date in its new Center of Excellence on Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe, SAFE (https://www.safe-frankfurt.de ). The position is limited to six years, subject to a positive midterm review.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: We are looking for applicants that are close to or already have published in prominent international journals with a strong substantive interest in marketing aspects of the financial service industry and financial products, including the impact of regulations on consumer and firm behaviours. Applicants should have demonstrated strong interest in empirical research.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful applicant is expected to conduct research and to contribute actively to the activities of the Center of Excellence, which include a visitors program, a data center, and numerous research projects focusing on different aspects of a sustainable architecture for finance in Europe.

Candidates should show strong research potential and capacity for effective teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels. All teaching can be in English but we expect the candidate to acquire basic German language skills over time.
