Director, Financial Services & Business Analytics Lab and Clinical Lecturer

Loyola University Chicago's Quinlan School of Business invites applications for the position of Director, Financial Services and Business Analytics Lab, and Clinical Lecturer, beginning in July 2013. This non-tenure-track position is a full-time appointment that combines both teaching and administrative responsibilities.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS: Quinlan School of Business is located at the Water Tower Campus, in the heart of Chicago's downtown Gold Coast neighborhood. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As Director, develop the vision and strategy for the lab and implement programs and services to support the overall mission of the lab.
- Manage and supervise administrative and technical support staff as well as student interns who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the lab.
- Provide Quinlan leaders with input for the design of the lab in the new business facility, and work with architects and IT professionals to implement the School's vision for the new learning environment.
- As Clinical Lecturer, develop and teach cutting-edge for-credit courses, commensurate with experience, emphasizing the use of software and data products for undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Support faculty from all departments of the Quinlan School of Business to adopt lab capabilities into their courses including organizing educational sessions for students and faculty for tools that are considered for the courses.
- Support educational and research activities created or sponsored by Center for Risk Management, Family Business Center, and Center for Supply Chain Management as well as interdisciplinary work between departments of the Quinlan School of Business.

REQUIRED SKILLSET AND BACKGROUND:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position that includes budget management, team management, and strategic planning responsibilities.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and experience with their application in business domains is desired.
- A master's degree in a related field is required; a PhD is preferred.
