Visiting Professor of Finance
The Carl H. Lindner College of Business at University of Cincinnati is seeking candidates for a visiting faculty position at any rank. Individuals with specializations in the areas of corporate finance and financial management will be given preference. Our preference is that the position will begin August 15, 2013.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate is expected to have a full-time teaching experience and to teach two sections of MBA-level Financial Management course per semester during the academic year of 2013-04 at a level of quality consistent with the high standards of Carl H. Lindner College. Depending on experience and departmental needs, one more class might be added to the load. We are especially interested in individuals who can interact effectively with others and enhance the intellectual environment of the College.
ABOUT THE COLLEGE AND DEPARTMENT: The AACSB-accredited Carl H. Lindner College of Business offers programs in BBA, MBA, MSc to Ph.D. The Finance Department has 13 full-time faculty members with a variety of research interests. A recent independent academic study ranked the per capita value-added research productivity of the finance faculty in 18 major finance journals as number one and doctoral graduates in the top 10. MS-finance Program, UC Real Estate Center, and Center for Risk Management and Insurance are also part of the Finance Department.
