Postdoc Researcher in Market Microstructure
The ESSEC Finance Department is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Market Microstructure for a period of 6 months up to one year.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for the Postdoc position should have obtained or be close to completing a PhD in finance. He/She is expected to conduct empirical research related to OTC trading, which includes the analysis of trading strategies of market participants, trading protocols, and regulatory implications. The project is funded by a grant of the French National Research Agency (ANR). Good knowledge of econometric methods, statistical software, and large-dataset programming skills are required.
ABOUT THE ESSEC FINANCE DEPARTMENT: ESSEC is a French "Grande Ecole" with campuses in the Paris metropolitan area and in Singapore. The school offers a wide variety of programs at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels, and was the first AACSB accredited business school outside the United States and Canada. The Department of Finance consists of 20 faculty members, comprising 9 different nationalities.
