Post-doctoral Position

The Institute of Global Finance (IGF) at the UNSW is a research institute that promotes high quality research in banking and finance, focussing on topics addressing financial stability, systemic risk, corporate finance, corporate governance. financial regulatory issues, and financial institutions. It is housed at Australia's leading business school, the Australian School of Business.

Currently the IGF has one post-doctoral position vacant.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful applicant will have completed, or have nearly completed, a PhD in finance or a related field, and will have demonstrated strong empirical skills. The successful applicant will work with the research team at the IGF and make significant contributions to joint projects. Other necessary skills are strong quantitative skills, communication skills, and teamwork skills.

DURATION: The position will be for a fixed two year term, with the chance of extension for another one to two years.

SALARY: The salary will be competitive.
