Applications are invited for a Professorship (in German: W2-Professur) in Business Administration, in particular International Financial Management, which will be part of the Finance Center Muenster at the University of Muenster, Germany.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will represent the field International Financial Management in research and teaching from a general Business Administration perspective. Applicants should have a strong interest and expertise in one of the core areas of finance, e.g. in Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Insurance, Empirical Capital Markets Research, Asset Pricing or Risk Management. This expertise should enable them to extend the existing curriculum of the Finance Center and permit joint work with the existing faculty at the Finance Center Muenster.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a strong research record including publications in leading international academic journals. They are expected to teach in English on undergraduate level and to contribute to the Finance Master's and the PhD programs. Applications from abroad are welcome; however a good command of the German language is required. Prerequisites for applications are scientific qualifications which have been obtained on the basis of an assistant professorship, a habilitation, or a comparable postdoctoral qualification.
