Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Finance
The School of Banking and Finance at the University of New South Wales is seeking to make one or more appointments at the level of Lecturer (Assistant Professor) and Senior Lecturer. Applicants must have a PhD completed or near completion and must be able to demonstrate strong research abilities and a commitment to teaching in all fields of finance, including real estate finance.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a PhD completed or near completion and must be able to demonstrate strong research abilities and a commitment to teaching. Applicants for lecturer positions should show promise of becoming excellent teachers and internationally recognised scholars. Senior appointments should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in research, teaching and supervision, as well as strong evidence of academic leadership.
Successful applicants will be expected to teach in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs, to supervise postgraduate research, and to develop an independent research program that achieves international recognition.
Appointments made will be for fixed-term period for 3 or 5 years under a convertible tenure track appointment.
