Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance

George Mason University, School of Management, Finance Area seeks to fill multiple tenure-track assistant or associate professor of finance positions. The appointments are available for the start of the 2013-2014 academic year.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must demonstrate or show potential for excellence in both research and teaching and should have earned their PhD. (or be close to completion). Applicants for appointment at the associate professor level must have a substantial record of research accomplishment. The standard teaching load for tenure-track assistant or associate professors is six hours per semester at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Applicants should have the ability to teach in at least two of the following areas: corporate finance, investments, financial institutions, financial markets, derivatives, international finance, and managerial economics.
