Faculty Position in Finance

The Department of Finance in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia is seeking one qualified individual for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant level. The position is tenure-track and will be available August 2013. Salary is competitive and dependent upon qualifications. The position is contingent upon funding. We will be interviewing at the AFA meetings.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in finance or a related discipline (ABD is acceptable if degree requirements are met no later than January 1, 2014.) Candidates must have a demonstrated interest in pursuing research and teaching in the field of finance and have evidence of activity in both areas. A successful candidate must be able to teach at the undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. levels.
