Assistant Professor Finance/Financial Economics

The Department of Management, University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM), invites applications for a tenure-stream position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Finance/Financial Economics beginning July 1, 2013.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must have a PhD in Finance or Financial Economics or be in the final stages of their dissertation. Evidence of excellence in teaching and research is required. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research interests are in behavioral finance, experimental finance, macro finance, or microstructure.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful applicant will be appointed as a faculty member at UTM and cross-appointed to the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management. S/he will be part of a strong culture of research, doctoral training, graduate and undergraduate management education with the following programs: PhD; Master of Management & Professional Accounting (MMPA); Diploma in Investigative & Forensic Accounting (DIFA); Master of Management of Innovation (MMI); B.Com., BBA and HBA/HBSC (Management). Salary to be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
