The A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University is seeking qualified applicants for faculty positions in finance to begin Fall 2013. At the junior level we welcome applications from candidates in any area of finance. At the senior level we seek applicants with experience in the area of energy finance, energy risk management or energy economics.
Faculty Positions in Finance
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a doctoral degree by August 2013, a strong research record or potential, and a commitment to teaching excellence. An established publication record in top-tier journals is required for appointments at senior ranks. Faculty salaries are competitive and depend on the qualifications of the candidate.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Applicants should send curriculum vitae, copies of working papers and/or publications, and evidence of teaching effectiveness. Applications for a tenure-track position must also include at least two letters of recommendation. Review of applications begins immediately. The application deadline is December 14, 2012, but the deadline may be extended until all positions are filled.
Faculty members from the finance area of the Freeman School plan to be at the 2013 AFA meetings and the 2012 FMA meetings for preliminary interviews of candidates for the position.
