Applications are invited for several permanent, tenurable positions in the Economics Department at AUT University. Although applications from any field will be considered, preference will be given to those specific fields listed above.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The Department has a growing research culture and comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes. The Business School has a reputation as a leading provider of innovative undergraduate and postgraduate business education, with strong links to business, employers and professional bodies. The School has over 6,000 students and over 170 academic staff, and offers degrees in the Bachelor of Business, Masters, MBA and PhD programmes.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Appointments can be made at the level of lecturer, senior lecturer or associate professor. Candidates for junior positions should have a PhD and be able to demonstrate promise of excellence in both teaching and research. Candidates for senior positions should have a distinguished record in teaching, research and service. Applications should include a curriculum vitae, at least three reference names and one research paper.
