Faculty Positions
The Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University in Metro
Vancouver, British Columbia seeks outstanding candidates for two
positions one in HRM and the other in HRM/OB/OD/OMT/ONE (Rank: one
position at assistant level; the other is open).
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidates will have strong
research records. Preference will be given to candidates with
research programs in one of Beedie's four research themes
(Globalization and emerging markets; Knowledge, innovation and
technology; Society, Environment and Governance; or Capital and Risk
Management). Additionally, the candidates must have demonstrated
teaching competency at the undergraduate, graduate and executive
levels, and leadership abilities. Ph.D. is required although ABD near
completion will be considered.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS: The Beedie School of Business is
recognized as a top 100 ranked research school, is accredited by both
AACSB and EQUIS, and is signatory to Principles for Responsible
Management Education. We have programs at the Undergraduate, Masters,
Ph.D. and Executive levels, including Canada's first Executive MBA program.
The school is the recent recipient of a record-setting $22 million
gift from alumnus Ryan Beedie and his father Keith. The donation will
bolster the faculty's already strong position as a global leader in research.
