The School of Securities and Futures at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, in Chengdu, China invites applications for a Finance Faculty Position for Fall 2012.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants are expected to engage in quality research and teaching. A successful applicant should have a Ph.D. or is expected to receive one from a strong program in the field of, but not limited to, Finance or economics. We strongly encourage those with a concentration in Statistics/Computer Science/Mathematics and substantial experience in applying these disciplines to finance to apply. Senior applicants should have excellent records on research and teaching.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Engagement in quality research and teaching is expected.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL: With the former chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Zhou Zhengqing, as the honorary dean, school of securities and futures is a principal constituent of the "integral research program of finance" of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.
