Visiting Assistant Professor
Auburn University, Auburn, AL: The Department of Finance invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position, contingent upon budget, as a Visiting Assistant Professor in finance starting Fall Semester, 2012.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Successful applicants must possess by the appointment date a Ph.D./D.B.A. in finance or business with a major in finance. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U.S. at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. The successful candidate will possess in addition to the required terminal degree, evidence of research productivity and intellectual contributions to the field of finance commensurate with experience. Additionally, candidates must be AACSB academically qualified (AQ) (i.e., terminally degreed and have published at minimum, 2 peer reviewed articles in the past 5 years or have received the terminal degree within the 5 years prior to appointment). Excellent communication skills are required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Department seeks candidates with an instructional emphasis in the core areas of finance to include corporate finance, investments, and financial institutions. The successful candidate should be willing to teach 2 to 4 courses per semester. Candidates with a proven record of teaching effectiveness are preferred. The chosen faculty member is expected to contribute primarily in instruction with some service and research.
