Icesi is a private University founded in 1979 by local business leaders in southwest Colombia. The University Campus sits in ten acres of a beautiful estate in the City of Cali, arguably the second most important city in the country. The campus was built in 1989 and today consists of ten state-of-the-art buildings with cutting-edge technology. The student population at University is close to 5000 and at the Business School (FCAE) about 3000 undergraduate and graduate students. Our School is nationally recognized as one of the top Business and Economics Schools in the country. The Accounting and Finance Department of the School of Management and Economic Sciences at Universidad Icesi invites applications for full-time position at the assistant level, effective for 2012.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Accounting and Costs: Preference will be given to those with teaching and research interests in Taxes and Costs. Compensation levels are competitive. Candidates must possess a doctoral degree by fall 2012 and have a strong commitment to excellence in scholarly research and teaching.

Finance: Preference will be given to those with teaching and research interests in Finance and Financial Markets. Compensation levels are competitive. Candidates must possess a doctoral degree by fall 2012 and have a strong commitment to excellence in scholarly research and teaching.
